About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory by following established CarMax processes
- Receive and secure incoming vehicles and prepare title packets for transfers
- Perform lot maintenance and merchandising to ensure display areas are clean and organized
- Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming
- Execute the photo station process for online car listings
- Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support
- Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements to maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred
- Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
