Flow Cytometry Scientist

Responsibilities

• Perform flow cytometry and other immune assays
• Design and perform experiments, analyze and present data
• Assist in establishing and improving procedures and SOP documentation
• Troubleshoot and correct routine scientific issues
• Identify and implement emerging laboratory techniques
• Support new equipment operational qualifications and performance checks
• Act as a scientific resource for clients and internal teams
• Assist with writing, reviewing, and editing contract/grant applications and scientific papers

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in life sciences or a relevant field
• 5 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Expert level flow cytometry skills using whole blood and isolated cells
• Experience monitoring cell-mediated immunity via flow cytometry, ELISpot, ELISA, and MSD
• Proficiency with GraphPad Prism, Diva, and FlowJo
• Ability to differentiate colors on the full color spectrum
• Ability to work in cold freezer environments (-20ºC to -196ºC)
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of GLP, CAP/CLIA, or ISO standards
• Experience with immunophenotyping assays
• Experience with cell sorting techniques
