About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform flow cytometry and other immune assays
- Design and perform experiments, analyze and present data
- Assist in establishing and improving procedures and SOP documentation
- Troubleshoot and correct routine scientific issues
- Identify and implement emerging laboratory techniques
- Support new equipment operational qualifications and performance checks
- Act as a scientific resource for clients and internal teams
- Assist with writing, reviewing, and editing contract/grant applications and scientific papers
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in life sciences or a relevant field
- 5 years of relevant laboratory experience
- Expert level flow cytometry skills using whole blood and isolated cells
- Experience monitoring cell-mediated immunity via flow cytometry, ELISpot, ELISA, and MSD
- Proficiency with GraphPad Prism, Diva, and FlowJo
- Ability to differentiate colors on the full color spectrum
- Ability to work in cold freezer environments (-20ºC to -196ºC)
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of GLP, CAP/CLIA, or ISO standards
- Experience with immunophenotyping assays
- Experience with cell sorting techniques
