About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with physical and chemical analyses performed on flour and bakery products
- Support specific analyses including moisture, ash, protein, sedimentation, gluten, and farinograph
- Take part in baking application trials for products such as bread, toast bread, pasta, and croissants
- Assist in recording and documenting trial and analysis results
- Contribute to laboratory organization and equipment cleaning
Requirements
- Current student in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Genetics and Bioengineering, or a related field
- Must be seeking either a mandatory university internship or a voluntary internship
- Strong interest in flour and baking technologies
- Open to learning and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Careful adherence to laboratory and hygiene rules
- Basic knowledge of MS Office programs
- Proficient in spoken and written English
