Floor Trader - SPX

Responsibilities

• Make markets on options for brokers on the CBOE floor using proprietary pricing and execution software.
• Identify and execute market opportunities to drive team P&L.
• Support team coverage and compete effectively in the S&P 500 options marketplace.
• Collaborate with experienced traders to learn Akuna's specific systems and trading styles.
• React quickly and accurately to rapidly changing market conditions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience market making options on the CBOE floor.
• Recent SPX pit experience within the last 18 months.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to solve math problems under high pressure.
• BS/MS in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or an equivalent field.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
