Floor Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day management of the sales team
• Implement Polène’s service standards, selling approach, and client experience expectations on the floor
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding, daily follow-ups, and performance management
• Monitor key KPIs including sales, average basket, and conversion rates to implement corrective actions
• Lead daily morning briefs to communicate sales priorities and commercial targets
• Oversee floor organization, staffing allocation, opening/closing procedures, and visual merchandising execution
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and department store requirements
• Act as a brand ambassador to build strong client relationships and drive brand loyalty

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar leadership role within luxury, premium, fashion, or leather goods retail
• Proven experience managing a team of approximately 5 to 10 people
• Strong sales leadership skills with the ability to lead effectively from the floor in a hands-on manner
• Solid experience in store operations, team supervision, and KPI management
• Ability to work effectively and remain calm in a high-traffic retail environment
• Strong interest in craftsmanship, product excellence, and elevated client experiences
• Collaborative mindset with proactive, detail-oriented, and operationally rigorous work habits
