About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the team to ensure the service model is implemented in-store
- Zone, prioritize, and delegate tasks to team members based on business needs
- Set goals and provide real-time coaching and motivation to drive sales floor results
- Perform hourly business reads and update the team on goals and results
- Celebrate team successes and share recognition
- Communicate business results and anecdotal feedback to the leadership team
- Make timely decisions that balance team goals with a customer-focused environment
- Create a sense of urgency to achieve results and eliminate performance obstacles
Requirements
- 1-2 years of leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of hiring, leading, and developing store teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with a store leadership team
- Ability to bend, reach, stretch, and lift/carry at least 40 pounds
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to move regularly around all areas of the store
