Floor Care Technician

Responsibilities

• Run all floor care equipment according to department policy and procedure
• Follow procedures for stripping, refinishing, scrubbing, and burnishing all floor types
• Perform carpet extraction and maintain all floor care equipment and storage areas
• Mark project areas with appropriate warning signs to ensure safety
• Follow procedures for the completion of the Recycling program
• Adhere to CARES behaviors and provide proper customer service
• Complete all required job-specific training

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift, carry, or push/pull up to 20-50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, including bending, kneeling, reaching, and squatting
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a healthcare facility or large facility
• Previous experience in professional cleaning and floor care

Benefits

• Shift differentials available: $3/hr after 3pm and $5/hr after 11pm
