New Story Schools serves students ages 5–21 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Guided by individualized learning, therapeutic integration, and collaboration, we empower students to grow and prepare for meaningful adult lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide paraprofessional support across multiple school districts and classroom settings
• Support students with academic, behavioral, and self-care goals
• Implement IEPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans under teacher guidance
• Assist students with transitions, classroom activities, and personal care
• Collect and record behavioral and progress data
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure consistent support
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities
• Knowledge of behavior management and classroom support strategies
• Ability to travel between assigned school districts and school locations
• Flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs
