Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with all aspects of the classroom in alignment with center philosophy and goals
• Implement activities that encourage emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all children
• Establish professional rapport with families to provide high-quality care
• Take direction and constructive feedback to improve program quality
• Perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Completion of early childhood education credentials or 6 credits of early childhood education coursework
• Ability to pass all required background checks
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a childcare setting
