Floater

Responsibilities

• Perform various jobs per the description requirements at the discretion of department leadership
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment
• Maintain equipment to meet quality standards and perform repairs within capability
• Perform general warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, and material movement in SAP
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, yard trucks, and box trucks
• Drive company trucks between plant buildings and warehouse
• Prepare products for manual or automated processing
• Verify product counts and follow run sheets for loading accuracy
• Provide training for new associates
• Obey all company safety rules, including lockout procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 3 months
• Ability to obtain yard truck operation certification within 3 months
• Ability to obtain sterilization job function certification within 6 months
• Ability to obtain radiation certification within 12 months
• Ability to pass an FBI background check and provide fingerprints
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Basic computer skills (SAP, Excel, Word preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or technical school education
• 1 year of warehouse or sterilization experience
