About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality child development support with an emphasis on cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Assist with daily care routines including toileting, meal times, hand washing, and teeth brushing.
- Engage in responsive, supportive, and respectful adult-child interactions.
- Support teaching teams during nap times, transitions, and provide coverage for breaks and planning time.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
- Completion of Child Growth and Development coursework (or equivalent per NH State Childcare Licensing).
- Previous experience working in an early childhood classroom setting (preschool, infant, or toddler).
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children and families.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
