Flightline Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee flightline operations to ensure air vehicles pass certification for airworthiness
• Manage final component installation, systems operation functional testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Interface with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to ensure product requirements and customer acceptance
• Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies, and set operational goals
• Provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees while maintaining a safe work environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment
• FAA Airframe and Power Plant License or equivalent experience to obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate
• 1+ year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
• Ability to work variable shifts including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of flightline operations experience
• 3+ years of experience working directly with live customers
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, troubleshooting, functional testing, or manufacturing
• Proficiency using CMES
