Flightline Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and motivate employees using best practices and regular feedback
• Ensure air vehicles are completed and certified for airworthiness by overseeing final paint, modification, repair, and delivery preparation
• Interface with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements
• Develop and execute project and process plans to achieve goals for quality, on-time delivery, and cost control
• Provide technical oversight of suppliers and lead continuous process improvements
• Oversee and approve technical approaches, process changes, and the adoption of lean principles
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork aligned with Boeing Values

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience
• Possess an A&P or Repairman Certificate (or 18 months of practical maintenance experience to qualify for an FAA Repairman Certificate)
• At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
• Willingness to work various shifts, overtime, holidays, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
• 3+ years of flight line operations experience and functional test knowledge
• Experience with avionics, troubleshooting, release, or structures
• Proficiency using Velocity/CMES or similar industry software
• Bachelor's degree or higher
