Flightline Operation Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of aviation maintenance professionals in preparing Navy carrier-based aircraft for ground and flight testing
• Oversee airworthiness certification, including component installation, functional testing, maintenance, and preflight/postflight checks
• Interface with flight crews, engineering, management, and customers to ensure product requirements and acceptance
• Develop and execute project plans, implement operational policies, and set performance goals
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees while providing oversight for technical approaches and processes
• Acquire necessary resources for projects and provide technical management of suppliers

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
• Experience in aircraft maintenance and flight line operations (military or commercial)
• Experience working in a highly regulated maintenance environment requiring strict policy compliance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project)
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% domestically

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• Associate degree or higher, or equivalent military experience
• Previous experience as a team lead, project lead, or maintenance supervisor
