Flight Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform ground and flight tests on A220 and A320 production aircraft to obtain Certificate of Airworthiness and customer acceptance
• Manage aircraft configuration, loading, weight and balance, and take-off data calculations
• Operate aircraft systems and Cockpit Collection Tools (COCOTO) during flight tests
• Document technical findings, malfunctions, or anomalies in the Technical Log Book and Flight Crew Reports
• Act as a Flight Acceptance Engineer to manage aircraft through production and delivery phases
• Ensure technical follow-up of aircraft from hand-over until Technical Acceptance Completion (TAC)
• Collaborate with Ground Test Engineers to ensure a smooth delivery process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Aeronautics, or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of experience as a Flight Test Engineer
• 8+ years of experience in aircraft systems (including various ATA chapters)
• EASA or equivalent Flight Test School qualification
• Current EASA, TCCA, or FAA Class 2 Medical certification
• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Aeronautics
• Prior Airbus or Bombardier experience, specifically with A220 or A320 programs
• Experience in project management or transversal roles
• Training in Crew Resources Management (CRM) and Human Factors
• Private pilot's license
• Proficiency in French, German, or Spanish
