Flight Test Director

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure systems meet rigorous performance specifications.
• Conduct data collection activities, including the review and analysis of data elements, and provide detailed results reporting.
• Trace and correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems using failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action methods.
• Create and modify critical documentation, including Test Plans and Procedures, Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), and Test Data Review (TDR) packages.
• Coordinate multiple team member schedules to meet critical program needs.
• Travel up to 20% as required for testing and mission support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics).
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in Hardware Systems Integration and Platform Integration/Flight Test.
• Strong understanding of Verification and Validation (V&V) methods and requirement evaluation.
• Experience with troubleshooting and failure analysis processes.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in RF integration of hardware systems, including digital signal processing and advanced waveforms.
• Knowledge of RF spectral and temporal effects such as clutter, multipath, and self-interference.
• Experience with telemetry data analysis tools and missile system host platforms.
• Background in test systems design and collaborating across electrical, mechanical, and software engineering disciplines.
• Experience presenting technical data to stakeholders and customers during design reviews.
