Flight Simulation Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, and designs for simulation software systems
• Create and maintain code to integrate software components into fully functional systems
• Develop simulation environments to support testing performed by Mission Systems engineers
• Build core simulation infrastructure, tools, and models for flight simulation capabilities
• Work within an agile team to execute and document software research and development projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• 2+ years of professional experience programming in C++
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Modeling and Simulation
• Experience in the defense or avionics industry
• Proficiency in C, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
• Experience working on an Agile team using Agile methodologies and tools
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
