Flight Sciences Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses supporting aircraft flight characteristics, aerodynamic performance, structural loading, and dynamic behavior
• Develop engineering solutions, technical reports, and compliance documentation for aircraft modifications and repairs
• Support aerodynamic evaluations, CFD, flight loads, flutter, and structural dynamics
• Develop flight test plans, test procedures, instrumentation requirements, and post-flight data analysis
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders to support program execution
• Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, installation, ground testing, and flight testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in aircraft modification, repair, flight sciences, or aerospace product development
• Proficiency in aerodynamic analysis, CFD, aircraft performance, or flight test engineering
• Experience with engineering analysis software such as ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, or MATLAB/Simulink
• Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-516C airworthiness requirements and military aircraft programs
• Ability to work in both office and aircraft hangar environments
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status
