Flight Operations Mechanic - Quality Assurance Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform operational checkouts of aircraft prior to flight and inspect explosive and armament installations
• Maintain aircraft historical records and perform final inspections on experimental aircraft
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Inspect the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment
• Operate engines during run-ups and perform engine buildup as assigned
• Install, repair, and replace aircraft components including power plants, generators, and instruments
• Inspect structural parts, composite repairs, and fabricated components such as skins and frames
• Perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, and working on aircraft using fall protection

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a military or commercial aircraft environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing military aircraft maintenance activities
• Previous experience holding an active U.S. Security Clearance within the past 24 months
