Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality flight training to military and civilian students
- Ensure safety and compliance with Transport Canada and FAA regulations
- Organize ground and flight training sessions
- Create and execute personalized lesson plans
- Monitor and evaluate student performance with constructive feedback
- Perform pre- and post-flight aircraft inspections
- Maintain accurate student records and flight logs
- Coordinate with flight school staff for resource planning
Requirements
- 3,000+ total flight hours
- 1,000+ minimum mountain flying hours
- Type qualifications on Bell 407, AS350 – H125, or EC120
- Sling load competency
- Ability to work night shifts (NVG training)
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Basic office software skills (Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Instructional experience (classroom and in-cockpit)
- Experience in team-oriented environments
