Flight Control Testing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define Measurement Parameter Lists (MPL) and draft Ground Test Requests (GTRs) to secure testing slots
• Validate sensor measurement points and follow up on actuator force sensor calibrations
• Manage data integrity by maintaining calibration coefficient databases and tracking parameter status
• Establish work protocols for instrumented actuator tracking and parameter function validation
• Perform real-time data analysis during flight tests to detect signal loss, zero drifts, or calculator handovers
• Execute ground and taxi test analysis to identify signal issues caused by vibrations
• Manage the resolution process for technical issues, including coefficient changes and repairs
• Provide technical support and reporting to stakeholders throughout the flight test campaign

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) systems, including sensors and data acquisition
• Familiarity with aircraft systems, specifically Flight Controls (ATA 27)
• Proficiency in data analysis and handling telemetry data
• Strong scripting skills in Python, MATLAB, or similar languages for automation and data processing
• Advanced proficiency in both French and English
• Ability to work in a hands-on, operational environment with high attention to detail
