Fleet Trainee

About the Company

Boskalis is a leading global dredging and marine contractor. We design and build infrastructure in and around water, such as ports, waterways, offshore energy installations and coastal protection projects. We also develop and operate a large fleet of specialised vessels to carry out this work worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the performance, maintenance, compliance and improvement of a diverse offshore fleet
• Work on engineering and operational projects within the offshore fleet department
• Support maintenance and modification projects, vessel conversions, and dry-docking activities
• Assist in the technical management of vessels and equipment
• Gain direct experience of offshore construction and installation activities through time spent on board vessels

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Affinity with offshore operations, vessels or technical systems
• Willingness to travel abroad for longer periods
• Ability to work flexible hours when required
• Good command of spoken and written English
