Fleet Technician

Responsibilities

• Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers
• Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
• Overhaul electrical equipment and components
• Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment
• Welding and metal working
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing preparation
• Parts ordering and stores management
• Support team members including Apprentice Technicians
• Accurately record time and detail of completed jobs
• Carry out inspection and repair of workshop equipment

Requirements

• HGV L3 in vehicle maintenance (L2 and time served considered)
• Fleet experience
• Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing
• Cat C+E licence highly desirable
• Diagnostics skills/qualifications desirable
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset
