Fleet Technician Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect all vehicles for condition and operational safety to ensure the highest level of maintenance and physical appearance
• Address immediate fleet concerns and troubleshoot issues to reduce road calls and maintain operational safety
• Track daily vehicle reports, maintenance logs, parts used, and repair records
• Coordinate with fleet vendors and operations teams to anticipate service needs and optimize fleet readiness
• Inform management regarding the functionality of on-board technology, including Wi-Fi, telematics, and vehicle tablets
• Complete all assigned work orders according to the established schedule

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 1+ years of vehicle maintenance experience, including changing fluids and safety checking vehicle systems
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school training is preferred
• Experience with transit buses or motor coaches is strongly preferred
• Current/Active DOT Medical Card and ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug test
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Proficient English communication skills
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and inclement weather
• Flexibility to work outside regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs

• $35.00 - $45.00 per hour with a $7,500 sign-on bonus
