Fleet Technician 3

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs on a diverse fleet including automobiles, light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts
• Diagnose vehicle failures and disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as necessary
• Utilize advanced technology and diagnostic programs such as Noregon, Uptake predictive analytics, and voice applications
• Maintain accurate documentation including work orders, vehicle records, part reconciliation, and pre-trip checklists
• Adhere to all safety standards and procedures to support a strong safety culture

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (with or without accommodation)
• Physical dexterity for bending, reaching, climbing, pinching, and manipulating objects
• Must own basic hand tools
• Ability to pass a Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and documentation
• Experience using shop tools such as engine hoists, welding equipment, and tire changers
• Experience working with hydraulic and air brake systems
• Proficiency using computers and mobile devices (iPads, laptops, or handheld diagnostics)
• Experience working under limited supervision or in a remote capacity
