Fleet Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations including driver schedules and vehicle tracking
• Manage driver assignments and route allocation to optimize resource utilization
• Communicate with drivers and operations management via phone and text
• Monitor driver performance KPIs such as on-time rates and safety records
• Maintain accurate documentation of shift activities and incidents
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Proficiency with GPS tracking systems and dispatch software
• Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
• Proficiency in Gmail and ability to learn new software
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays (Thursday-Sunday)
