Fleet Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations including driver schedules and vehicle tracking
• Manage driver assignments to optimize resource utilization and minimize idle time
• Communicate effectively with drivers and operations management via phone and text
• Monitor driver performance KPIs such as on-time rates, fuel efficiency, and safety
• Maintain accurate records of shift activities, vehicle movements, and incidents
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
• Identify and implement process improvements based on operational data
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Gmail and ability to learn new software quickly
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays (specifically Thursday-Sunday)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field
• Previous supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of GPS tracking systems and dispatch software
