Fleet Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle and trailer registration, licensing, and fuel card program management
• Monitor and manage maintenance, repair expenses, and fleet utilization
• Provide reports and metrics to assist management covering all elements of fleet
• Develop and maintain relationships with local vendors
• Ensure DOT Compliance and provide timely reporting to Operations Management
• Monitor GPS system usage and ROI
• Manage and develop staff through coaching, training, and effective communication
• Oversee employee scheduling and foster a productive working climate
• Address and resolve employee concerns in a timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of two years of related experience
• Verifiable mechanical experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification
