TransWest moves people through shuttle, bus, charter, and valet services. We partner with leading companies to create personalized transportation systems and hospitality experiences, maintaining a diverse fleet of over 700 vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcoaches, shuttles, and electric vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and electrical components
  • Review driver defect reports and maintenance schedules to maximize vehicle availability
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, labor hours, and parts inventory
  • Utilize OEM diagnostic software and specialized tools to troubleshoot vehicle systems
  • Perform road tests and quality inspections to verify repairs
  • Support installation and troubleshooting of onboard technology like telematics and Wi-Fi
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Professional experience in vehicle repair or completion of a vocational automotive/diesel program
  • Experience with electrical, brake, powertrain, steering, suspension, or HVAC systems
  • Proficiency with vehicle diagnostic software (e.g., Cummins INSITE, ALLDATA, Ford IDS)
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • EPA Section 609 HVAC Certification
  • ASE certifications
  • OEM certifications (Cummins, Allison, Ford)
  • Experience with electric vehicles
  • CDL Class A or B with Passenger endorsement
