Fleet Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on fleet maintenance and repairs
• Identify fleet maintenance issues or trends and implement solutions
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize fleet maintenance activities
• Provide roadside assistance and coordinate repairs for downed vehicles
• Review work orders, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy
• Ensure conformance with vehicle manufacturer service recommendations
• Maintain parts department and inventory levels
• Comply with all OSHA and DOT regulations

Requirements

• 5 years of fleet and material handling equipment experience
• 5 years of mechanical experience
• Knowledge of diesel and gas engine mechanics
• Knowledge of safety practices and DOT regulations
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
• Clean driving record and AK state driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA 608/609 certifications
• ASE certifications
• State or Federal DOT Inspectors License
• Class A or B commercial driver license
• Forklift certification
• Experience with Manager+ Fleet Management Information System
