About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic management and performance of the ready-mix fleet to ensure maximum uptime of truck mixers, pumps, and support vehicles.
  • Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns and extend asset life.
  • Supervise and train maintenance teams, ensuring high performance and strict adherence to safety standards and zero4life targets.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs, including spare parts, labor, and external services, while managing workshop efficiency.
  • Manage third-party service providers and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for breakdowns and incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fleet availability, MTBF, and MTTR to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet UAE legal requirements, including RTA registrations, inspections, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate with operations and plant teams to align maintenance schedules with production and delivery demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintaining heavy equipment, vehicles, machinery, and material handling equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of truck mixers, pumps, generators, compressors, and workshop machinery.
  • Proven experience in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy machinery and fabrication works.
  • Thorough knowledge of UAE RTA rules and regulations regarding fleet compliance and road safety.
  • Strong understanding of the ready-mix concrete production process and its impact on fleet performance.
