About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain working relationships with vehicle coordinators, state departments, and outside vendors (auto repair, tow, collision, and fuel).
- Review and compile fleet-related reports, including accident/incident reports, maintenance schedules, EZPass, fuel, and vehicle usage data.
- Coordinate and train vicinage and central office vehicle coordinators on Judiciary vehicle policies and responsibilities.
- Schedule new and surplus vehicle appointments between vehicle coordinators, the Department of Treasury, and towing vendors.
- Maintain the Fleet Management filing system, including usage logs, maintenance requests, and surplus requests, following Judiciary Retention Guidelines.
- Conduct quarterly audits of vehicle usage logs and EZPass transponders.
- Monitor and review reports for vehicle registration and state inspection expiration dates.
- Manage the Office Services fleet, including processing motor pool requests, entering usage logs, and ensuring maintenance and car washes are completed.
- Manage parking program permits for the central office, including processing and updating permits for reserved and non-reserved parking.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to maintain a regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fleet management or administrative coordination.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
