Fleet Controller

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track vehicle locations and conditions using fleet management software
• Handle insurance claims, manage accident reports, and promote safe driving practices
• Monitor and approve repair costs and manage fuel cards
• Serve as the main contact point for drivers, service providers, and lease suppliers
• Ensure all vehicles and plant are recorded on the Motor Insurance Database
• Produce month-end charging spreadsheets for vehicles and insurance
• Coordinate vehicle sourcing and supply for various projects
• Administrate driver licence checks and process car applications for new starters
• Prepare P11d information for monthly submission to Group Tax
• Manage and resolve discrepancies in hire reports and parking/congestion charges

Requirements

• Previous experience in fleet management, transport coordination, or vehicle maintenance
• Understanding of vehicle maintenance and HGV/LCV regulations
• Proficient IT skills, specifically with fleet management software
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy for record-keeping and compliance documentation
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
