Fleet Allocator

Responsibilities

• Plan shift transport functions to ensure cargo delivery and receipt meets allocated timeslots and customer requirements
• Allocate jobs to drivers throughout the shift to achieve operational goals
• Provide drivers with necessary delivery paperwork
• Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to resolve transport issues
• Manage data management systems efficiently to maintain accurate records
• Create and provide accurate client booking and release details upon request
• Respond to issues raised by major clients in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Fleet Allocator, Scheduling, or Rostering position
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• High attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• A reliable team player with a can-do attitude and commitment to safe work practices
