Fleet Allocator

Responsibilities

• Allocate and coordinate fleet movements to meet daily service and customer requirements
• Communicate proactively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure operational alignment
• Manage bookings, manifests, and transport documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Update and maintain job records in SAP to support operational information flow
• Monitor fleet utilisation and respond to real-time changes, escalating issues as required
• Complete yard checks and reinforce safety practices in line with Vision Zero commitments

Requirements

• Experience in scheduling or fleet coordination within the logistics, transport, or rail industry
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a permanent night shift roster (Monday to Friday, 9pm to 5am)
• Highly organised with the ability to remain calm under high pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong geographical knowledge of the Brisbane metro area
