About the role

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and operate packaging equipment
  • Verify and record production quantities produced and/or consumed
  • Communicate effectively with counterparts and management during shift exchanges
  • Ensure product quality meets Food Safety guidelines and customer specifications
  • Perform preventive maintenance on packaging equipment
  • Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform duties such as bending, kneeling, climbing, and twisting
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust, loud noise)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or prior military experience
  • 3 to 5 years of forklift operation experience
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
  • Basic experience in troubleshooting mechanical components and systems
  • High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of two years of relevant work experience
