Flagger

Responsibilities

• Control and direct vehicles and pedestrians around construction zones using flags, signs, and communication devices
• Monitor the work area to ensure safety protocols are followed and respond to incidents as necessary
• Communicate effectively with team members and the public to ensure clear understanding of signals and directions
• Collaborate with construction workers and supervisors to create a safe working environment
• Use signaling equipment and safety tools to facilitate traffic control

Requirements

• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats and reflective vests

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in traffic control or related fields
• Traffic Control Flagging certification
