Fixed Assets Accountant

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and SOX
• Review and process fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset close activities
• Coordinate fixed asset stock counts and related control procedures
• Partner with procurement, FP&A, and operational teams to improve capitalization processes
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization
• Collaborate with finance and systems teams to enhance integrations with NetSuite and BlackLine

Requirements

• 6+ years of accounting experience with substantial fixed assets focus
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX/internal control frameworks
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Ability to manage high transaction volumes and meet tight deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reconciliation tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with process automation or finance transformation
• Experience in a multinational, high-growth, or technology-driven company
• Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation tools
• Big4 background or external audit experience
• Experience supporting SOX compliance in a public-company environment
