About the Company

BestEx Research is a financial technology and research firm specializing in building sophisticated execution algorithms and transaction cost modeling tools servicing multiple asset classes. The firm provides high-performance algorithmic execution services to hedge funds, CTAs, asset managers, and banks through a traditional electronic broker and in a broker-neutral Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of onboarding specialists and integration engineers
  • Define best practices, certification processes, and documentation standards for client onboarding
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for technical or workflow challenges during onboarding
  • Manage onboarding project timelines, ensuring delivery across multiple clients in parallel
  • Oversee complex client integrations from certification to production go-live
  • Guide clients through FIX connectivity setup, certification, and custom workflow implementation
  • Ensure order routing, algo workflows, and post-trade allocations are tested and validated
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce time-to-market for client onboarding
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to provide feedback for platform enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in trading technology onboarding, FIX connectivity, or client integration
  • Strong expertise in FIX protocol (4.2/4.4/5.0) and trading workflows
  • Proven experience managing multiple large-scale client onboarding projects
  • Leadership experience as a team lead or in a senior mentoring role
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving mindset in high-pressure trading environments
