Fitter/Tailor

Responsibilities

• Sew, measure, hem, and fit garments to meet customer needs using approved methods and specifications
• Repair or replace defective garment parts such as pockets, zippers, buttons, and linings
• Provide expert alterations and fabric expertise to customers in a timely manner
• Achieve personal productivity goals and assist the team in meeting department targets
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized store environment
• Communicate effectively with customers on the sales floor to ensure exceptional service
• Collaborate with the store team to ensure a seamless workflow

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional tailoring experience
• Deep knowledge of clothing and shirt construction
• Strong understanding of various fabrics and materials
• Previous experience in a retail environment or custom clothing sales
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and sit for long periods
• Ability to see fine details at close range
