Fitter/Welder, General Foreperson

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule construction activities for the Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project.
• Plan and approve the work of internal forces and subcontractors, including determining construction methods, manpower, and equipment needs.
• Ensure all work is conducted safely and in compliance with safety, quality, and human performance policies.
• Utilize project master schedules to create detailed look-ahead schedules for forecasting and planning.
• Maintain field documentation including safety records, daily progress reports, and manpower reports.
• Ensure project construction complies with drawings, specifications, Field Work Packages (FWPs), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Provide leadership and guidance to Field Supervisors, Coordinators, and craft labor.
• Interface with client representatives, design engineers, and consultants as required.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of construction supervision experience.
• Pipefitter Certification of Qualification or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and understanding skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to obtain unescorted access and security clearance for a Nuclear Power Plant.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the nuclear sector.
• Experience with vault work.
• Valid Bruce Power security clearance.
