Fitness Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain staff availability for weekly center and campus operational hours
• Manage updates to course schedules and fitness attendant call-offs
• Coordinate the usage of the Fitness Center by academic programs and various departments
• Oversee communications and software usage within the fitness center
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and guests both in person and via digital media
• Enforce facility policies and procedures diplomatically
• Work closely with the Operations Director to identify and implement areas for improvement
• React quickly to scheduling conflicts to ensure guest satisfaction and safety

Requirements

• Enrolled full-time student at Gannon University in good academic standing
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience using standard office equipment (copy machines, printers, telephones)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision and take initiative
• Ability to work with a diverse population of students, faculty, and community members
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• First Aid certification
• Previous experience in customer service, sports, or fitness environments
