Fitness Manager

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets month-over-month for personal training agreements and revenue generation
• Collaborate with membership sales to support new member onboarding
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Personal Training Managers and trainers
• Manage payroll processes for fitness staff
• Communicate goals and procedures to department leaders
• Ensure staff maintain appropriate CPR, First Aid, and personal trainer certifications
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to staff
• Address member concerns and ensure high-quality customer service
• Oversee facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocol compliance

Requirements

• Valid Personal Training certification
• Previous sales experience
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to lift more than 40 lbs and work in a gym setting
• Proficiency with MS Office and company computer systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of management experience, preferably in fitness
• 3-4 years of customer service experience
• Personal Training sales experience
