Fitness Manager

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets month-over-month for personal training agreements and revenue generation
• Collaborate with membership sales to support new member onboarding
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Personal Training Managers and Personal Trainers
• Manage payroll processes for the fitness team
• Communicate goals and procedures to department leaders and staff
• Ensure staff maintain appropriate certifications like CPR and First Aid
• Provide constructive performance feedback to staff members
• Address member concerns and ensure high-quality customer service
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain facility cleanliness

Requirements

• Must successfully pass background check
• Valid Personal Training certification
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Previous sales experience
• Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
• Ability to lift more than 40 lbs routinely
• Proficiency with computer systems and MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of management experience, preferably in fitness
• 3-4 years of customer service experience
• Personal Training sales experience
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills
