Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer

Responsibilities

• Design and execute safe, effective, and motivating personal training programmes for guests of all ages and fitness levels
• Lead dynamic group fitness classes such as indoor cycling, yoga, or Pilates
• Deliver engaging educational seminars and lectures on lifestyle topics, including nutrition, exercise, and detoxification
• Actively promote and sell personal training packages, specialized fitness courses, and wellness products
• Maintain flawless health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the shipboard fitness facility

Requirements

• Level 3 Personal Training qualification or international equivalent
• Valid Resistance Weights qualification (such as BAWLA, NABBA, or equivalent)
• At least 3 months of formal personal training experience
• Conversational English proficiency
• Japanese fluency (Native or fluent)
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and basic nutrition

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching specialized disciplines like Yoga, Pilates, Indoor Cycling, or Tai Chi
• Experience in public speaking or sales
