Fit out Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fit-out and maintenance activities to ensure work meets agreed scope, timeline, and quality standards.
• Coordinate directly with contractors, subcontractors, technicians, building management, and suppliers.
• Monitor site progress, identify potential delays, and escalate critical issues to management.
• Conduct regular site inspections regarding workmanship, safety, cleanliness, and material usage.
• Support coordination of civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting works.
• Ensure all workers and contractors adhere to site access rules, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Track daily progress, deliveries, and outstanding snagging items.
• Prepare simple daily or weekly progress updates for management.
• Maintain clear communication with Arabic-speaking workers to ensure instructions are implemented correctly.

Requirements

• Previous experience supervising fit-out, renovation, maintenance, or construction works in the UAE.
• Proven experience managing contractors, subcontractors, and technicians within the UAE.
• Mandatory fluency in spoken Arabic to communicate with site teams.
• Good English communication skills for reporting and coordination.
• Ability to work six days per week with flexible timing based on project needs.
• Must be currently based in the UAE with valid legal status (no employment visa provided for this temporary role).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow project instructions and snag lists.
