Fit-Out Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day interior fit-out works for luxury villas, including marble, stone, bespoke joinery, and decorative finishes.
• Ensure all works comply with approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and project specifications.
• Coordinate closely with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of services with architectural finishes.
• Monitor site progress against the approved programme and proactively coordinate with subcontractors to maintain timelines.
• Conduct regular quality inspections, manage mock-ups, and oversee the rectification of defects via snag lists.
• Manage contractors, suppliers, and site labour to ensure efficient use of resources and materials.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests (IRs), method statements, and daily/weekly progress reports.
• Verify material deliveries for compliance with specifications and ensure proper storage and protection of high-value finishes.
• Maintain strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations on site.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in luxury interior fit-out, specifically with high-end residential projects or villas.
• Expertise in high-quality architectural finishes, bespoke joinery, and stone works.
• Strong ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs.
• Solid knowledge of MEP coordination within fit-out environments to identify and resolve clashes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
