About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the fish department as a strategic profit center for the point of sale
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing our commitment to quality and local producers
- Oversee orders, stock rotation, and inventory management
- Handle product merchandising and department presentation (scenarist)
- Provide expert customer service, advice, and sales to build client trust
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and safety standards inherent to seafood handling
Requirements
- CAP Poissonnier (Fishmonger certification) or significant experience in retail/large-scale distribution
- Strong commercial mindset and passion for high-quality food products
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
