About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, compile, and follow up on various data asks to units and departments across the City
  • Analyze large datasets from a variety of sources
  • Conduct basic to intermediate financial analysis, including identifying trends and reconciling discrepancies
  • Communicate results of analysis through written summaries, visualizations, and presentations
  • Draft communication resources such as memos, one-pagers, and training materials
  • Support senior leaders with interdepartmental initiatives, working groups, and committees
  • Support process improvement projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience desired, such as within government or a related entity
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
