Fiscal Intern (Aduanas)

Responsibilities

• Support advisory projects regarding Customs and international trade for global clients.
• Assist with import and export operations and customs documentation (DUA).
• Learn to advise on special customs regimes such as transit, warehousing, and processing.
• Support tasks related to rules of origin, tariff classification, and certificates of origin.
• Help interpret Free Trade Agreements to optimize tariff costs.
• Participate in audits for Authorized Economic Operator (OEA) certification.
• Apply knowledge of customs regulations and Incoterms in daily tasks.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Economics, or Business Administration (DADE).
• Master's degree in Foreign Trade, Integral Customs Management, or a similar specialization.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and oral).
• Knowledge of customs legislation (CAU, Delegated Regulation, Implementing Regulation).
• Familiarity with Incoterms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Excise Duties (Impuestos Especiales).
• Understanding of the new Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) regulations.
